AN ACT REQUIRING A STUDY OF THE USE OF COMBUSTIBLE GAS
DETECTORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the Commissioner of Emergency Services and Public Protection, 1
State Building Inspector and State Fire Marshal, or their designees, 2
study the effectiveness of combustible gas detectors and whether to 3
require their installation in newly constructed buildings with natural 4
gas connections. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To study the use of combustible gas detectors.
