AN ACT CONCERNING SCHOOL CHOICE, TEACHER CONTROL OF CLASSROOMS AND PARENTAL ACCESS TO SCHOOL CURRICULA. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to (1) establish school 1 choice, (2) increase teacher control of classrooms, (3) authorize parents 2 to have access to school curricula, (4) reduce unnecessary unfunded 3 state mandates on local and regional boards of education, and (5) raise 4 academic standards state-wide. 5 Statement of Purpose: To advance school choice, empower educators, recognize parental authority, reduce unfunded state education mandates and raise academic standards state-wide.
