AN ACT CONCERNING THE INSTRUCTION OF AMERICAN SIGN
LANGUAGE IN CONNECTICUT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to fully fund 1
opportunities for the offering of American Sign Language in public 2
schools and to require that such offerings are posted in course of study 3
handbooks available to students. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide students with opportunities for instruction in American Sign
Language in public schools.
