BUMGARDNER, 41st Dist. AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE TO REPAIR A SEA WALL IN THE TOWN OF GROTON. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1 issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2 general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3 nine million seven hundred thousand dollars, in the fiscal year ending 4 June 30, 2026, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of 5 Energy and Environmental Protection for the purpose of providing a 6 grant-in-aid to the town of Groton for repairs to its sea wall. 7 Statement of Purpose: To provide funding to the town of Groton to repair its sea wall, which supports vital infrastructure.
