AN ACT ESTABLISHING A WORKING GROUP TO EXAMINE THE
WORKERS' COMPENSATION PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a working group to 1
examine the workers' compensation program and to make 2
recommendations for streamlining the workers' compensation 3
program, including, but not limited to, updating the electronic filing 4
system, including the reporting triggers and mechanisms, reducing 5
prior authorization delays and reducing fraudulent claims. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To provide recommendations to improve the workers' compensation
program in the state.
