AN ACT CONCERNING THE PROMOTION OF HEAT PUMP WATER
HEATERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of 1
Energy and Environmental Protection to establish a comprehensive 2
program to promote the utilization of energy-efficient heat pump water 3
heaters. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce costs to consumers while promoting energy efficiency and
clean energy goals.
