AN ACT REQUIRING PUBLIC UTILITY COMPANIES TO REPAIR
ALTERATIONS OF PUBLIC ROADWAYS CAUSED BY SUCH
COMPANIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that any public utility 1
company that causes the excavation of, or other alteration to, a public 2
roadway maintained by any municipality, be required to repave or 3
repair such roadway to the satisfaction of such municipality. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require that any public utility company that causes the excavation of,
or other alteration to, a public roadway maintained by any municipality,
be required to repave or repair such roadway to the satisfaction of such
municipality.
