AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF HOUSING FOR PERSONS WHO ARE ELDERLY
AND WITH DISABILITIES IN THE TOWN OF GRISWOLD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
thirteen million five hundred thousand dollars, in the fiscal year ending 4
June 30, 2026, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of 5
Housing for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to the town of 6
Griswold for the construction of housing for persons who are elderly 7
and with disabilities. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for the construction of housing for persons who are
elderly and with disabilities in the town of Griswold.
