AN ACT CONCERNING LEGISLATIVE APPROVAL FOR CHANGES TO
THE HUSKY HEALTH PROGRAM REIMBURSEMENT AND CARE
DELIVERY MODEL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) repeal outdated 1
references to the former managed care reimbursement and care delivery 2
model for the HUSKY Health program, and (2) require legislative 3
approval for any changes to the current fee-for-service HUSKY Health 4
program reimbursement and care delivery model. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that Medicaid recipients continue to receive high-quality
health care.
