AN ACT CONCERNING LEGISLATIVE OVERSIGHT OF ELECTION
LAW CHANGES MADE BY EXECUTIVE ACTION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to require the Secretary 1
of the State to submit, not later than October 1, 2025, to the joint standing 2
committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters 3
relating to elections a report on each election law modified by executive 4
order of the Governor or pursuant to the Secretary's authority under 5
section 9-3 of the general statutes for any election or primary. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Secretary of the State to submit a report on each election
law modified by executive order of the Governor or pursuant to the
Secretary's authority under section 9-3 of the general statutes for any
election or primary.
