AN ACT PERMITTING A COMMISSION TO DENY AN AFFORDABLE
HOUSING APPLICATION IF THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT
WOULD BE LOCATED IN THE WATERSHED OF A PUBLIC DRINKING
WATER SUPPLY RESERVOIR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subdivision (2) of subsection (g) of section 8-30g of the general 1
statutes be amended to permit a commission to deny an affordable 2
housing application on the basis that the proposed development would 3
be located in the watershed of a public drinking water supply reservoir. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To permit a commission to deny an affordable housing application if the
proposed development would be located in the watershed of a public
drinking water supply reservoir.
