AN ACT REQUIRING THE STATE TO PAY FOR TRANSITION
SERVICES FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR IN WHICH A STUDENT
REACHES TWENTY -TWO YEARS OF AGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the state to reimburse 1
local and regional boards of education for the cost of transition services 2
for a student who reaches twenty-two years of age for the school year in 3
which such student reaches such age. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To reimburse local and regional boards of education for the cost of
transition services for a student who reaches twenty-two years of age
for the school year in which such student reaches such age.
