AN ACT CONCERNING VETERANS AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 8 of the general statutes be amended to support making 1
affordable housing more available to the state's veteran population, 2
including, but not limited to, giving veterans a preference under certain 3
housing programs and incorporating veterans into the policies set forth 4
under section 8-30g of the general statutes by setting aside a certain 5
percentage of housing units to be occupied by lower-income veterans. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To support making affordable housing more available to the state's
veteran population.
