AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE CONNECTICUT COMMUNITY
MAKERSPACE INITIATIVE PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) require the Department 1
of Economic and Community Development to establish the Connecticut 2
Community Makerspace Initiative program to support 3
entrepreneurship in the state by promoting and expanding access to the 4
industrial-grade tools, resources and training provided by Connecticut's 5
nonprofit community, and (2) allocate funds for the operation of such 6
program. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To establish the Connecticut Community Makerspace Initiative
program to support entrepreneurship, innovation and economic
opportunity in the state.
