AN ACT PROHIBITING THE DISCLOSURE UNDER THE FREEDOM OF
INFORMATION ACT OF THE RESIDENTIAL ADDRESSES OF PUBLIC
SCHOOL TEACHERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 1-217 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the 1
disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act of the residential 2
addresses of teachers employed in a public school. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To extend the protections already afforded to public safety workers to
public school teachers by prohibiting disclosure of their residential
address.
