AN ACT PERMITTING CONSTABLES TO EXECUTE EVICTIONS AND
EJECTMENTS WITHIN THEIR JURISDICTION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That sections 47a-42, 47a-42a and 49-22 of the general statutes be 1
amended to provide that a constable may execute evictions and 2
ejectments within the constable's jurisdiction. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To permit a constable to execute evictions and ejectments within the
constable's jurisdiction.
