AN ACT CONCERNING THE EXPANSION OF THE CRISIS INITIATIVE
PILOT PROGRAM THROUGHOUT THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) Not later than January 1, 1
2026, the Division of State Police within the Department of Emergency 2
Services and Public Protection shall, in conjunction with the Department 3
of Mental Health and Addiction Services, expand the pilot program 4
known as the CRISIS Initiative: Connection to Recovery through 5
Intervention, Support and Initiating Services throughout the state. 6
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To require the Division of State Police to expand the CRISIS Initiative
pilot program throughout the state.
