AN ACT ELIMINATING CERTAIN FUNDING PROVISIONS FROM
THE HEALTHY HOMES FUND.

Explanation
The bill, which removes a provision that required certain remittances
for structurally deficit foundations of condominiums in Hamden, is not
anticipated to result in a fiscal impact to the state or to municipalities.
Such remittances would come from the Healthy Homes Fund and the
bill does not change any funding structure of the fund. To date, no
payments have been made under this provision. These funds will be
available for other programs under the Healthy Homes Fund. The
Healthy Homes Fund currently supports 1) the Crumbling Foundations
Assistance Fund and 2) a program for lead removal, remediation, and
abatement activities.
