AN ACT CONCERNING YOUTH VOLUNTEERISM IN NURSING
HOMES AND ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) The State Ombudsman shall conduct 1
a study to identify methods to increase youth volunteerism in nursing 2
homes and assisted living facilities. Not later than January 1, 2026, the 3
State Ombudsman shall submit a report on such study to the joint 4
standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of 5
matters relating to aging, in accordance with the provisions of section 6
11-4a of the general statutes. 7
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
