AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY RELATING TO BANKING ISSUES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Department of Banking shall 1
conduct a study relating to banking issues in the state. Not later than 2
January 15, 2026, the department shall submit a report, in accordance 3
with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, concerning 4
the results of such study to the joint standing committee of the General 5
Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to banking. 6
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To require the Department of Banking to conduct a study and submit a
report concerning banking issues in the state.
