AN ACT CONCERNING BROWNFIELD REMEDIATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Economic and 1
Community Development shall conduct a study of issues related to the 2
remediation and development of brownfields in this state. Not later than 3
February 1, 2026, the commissioner shall submit a report on the results 4
of such study to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly 5
having cognizance of matters relating to commerce, in accordance with 6
the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes. 7
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:

To require the Commissioner of Economic and Community
Development to study issues related to the remediation and
development of brownfields in the state.
