AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE NORWALK CONSERVATORY OF THE
ARTS TO CONFER DEGREES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Norwalk Conservatory of the 1
Arts, located in the city of Norwalk, shall have the authority to confer 2
such degrees and grant such diplomas or certificates as are customary 3
in institutions of higher education, in accordance with its bylaws and 4
subject to such requirements as may be prescribed by the Office of 5
Higher Education, in accordance with the provisions of section 10a-34 6
of the general statutes. 7
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 from passage New section
Statement of Purpose:
To authorize the Norwalk Conservatory of the Arts to confer degrees
pursuant to section 10a-34 of the general statutes.
