AN ACT REQUIRING THE CONNECTICUT HOUSING FINANCE
AUTHORITY TO UPDATE THE CONNECTICUT OPPORTUNITY MAP.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2025) Not later than January 1, 2026, the 1
Connecticut Housing Finance Authority shall (1) update the policy 2
underlying the Connecticut Opportunity Map, posted on its Internet 3
web site, to accurately characterize all areas of the state, including, but 4
not limited to, utilizing a broad array of metrics and economic potential 5
when determining an area's opportunity score, and (2) update said map 6
to reflect such changes in policy. 7
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 July 1, 2025 New section
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority to update the
Connecticut Opportunity Map.
