Explanation
The bill, which requires the Department of Correction to develop a
written policy permitting any mother in their custody who is lactating
to breastfeed her infant during any visit with such infant, does not result
in a fiscal impact because the department has the expertise to develop
such policy and it is expected that they can meet the bill's requirements
with existing resources.
