Explanation
The bill requires the Office of Health Strategy (OHS), in consultation
with the Department of Social Services and the Insurance Department,
to develop a plan to sustain healthcare services through the Connecticut
Health Insurance Exchange in the event that federal Medicaid funding
or health care subsidies decrease. This will not result in a fiscal impact,
as the agencies possess staff with the expertise necessary to meet the
requirements of the bill.
