Explanation
The bill may result in a potential cost to municipal water companies
beginning in FY 26 to the extent additional resources are required to
accelerate the testing of public drinking water supplies.
The bill makes other changes to the existing Connecticut Interagency
PFAS (perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances) Task Force that
are not anticipated to result in a fiscal impact.
The Out Years
The annualized ongoing fiscal impact identified above would
continue into the future subject to inflation.
