RESOLUTION AMENDING THE RULES OF THE SENATE TO
PROHIBIT POINTS OF PERSONAL PRIVILEGE DURING THE LAST
WEEK OF THE REGULAR LEGISLATIVE SESSION.
Resolved by the Senate:
That the rules of the Senate be amended to prohibit individual 1
members from raising points of personal privilege during the last week 2
of the regular legislative session. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To amend the rules of the Senate to prohibit points of personal privilege
during the last week of session to promote legislative productivity,
reduce procedural interruptions and ensure the timely completion of
the session's agenda.
