Padmaja Pavuluri
Dr. Padmaja Pavuluri, DO MPH is a pediatric hospitalist and
Associate Chief
of Operations for the Hospital Medicine Division
at Children's National Hospital, and an Associate Professor at the
George Washington University School
of Medicine.
Throughout her career, Dr. Pavuluri has held various institutional
roles in quality and safety, including Director for Medical
Quality, a Medical Unit Director, and Order Set Oversight
Committee Chair. She has been involved with numerous unit
based and house wide improvement processes, specifically
focused on discharge planning, reducing readmissions, and
family centered rounds and care for patients with limited English
proficiency. At Children's National,
Dr.. Pavuluri directs the Fellows' College Quality
Improvement Curriculum. Her research interests include readmissions and any opportunity
to
improve workflow efficiency and enjoyment..
A Ward 3 resident,
Dr.. Padmaja Pavuluri received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the
New York College
of Osteopathic Medicine, a Master's in Public Health from Rutgers University,
and a Bachelor
of Science in Biology from Duke University .. She completed her residency in
pediatrics at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, her fellowship at Texas Children's Hospital,
and a graduate certificate in the Master Teacher and Leadership Development Program from
George Washington University.
