18 resolution may be cited as the "Board of Medicine Amr Madkour Confirmation Resolution 	of 
19 2024". 
20 Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment 	of:

Dr. Amr Madkour 
Dr. Amr Madkour is an Obstetrician Gynecologist at t	he GW Medical 
Faculty Associates and an assistant professor at the George Washington 
University School of Medicine & Health Sciences.  He completed his 
internship and residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.  
Dr. Madkour is currently completing a master's degree and fellowship in 
integrative medicine through the George Washington University, in which 
his interests include mind-body therapies and trauma informed care, 
particularly as they pertain to the practice of obstetrics. 
A Ward 5 resident, Dr. Madkour earned his Bachelor of Arts i n Biology, 
Arabic at the University of Texas at Austin and his Doctor of Medicine at Texas Tech Health
