Enclosed for consideration and approval by the Council of the District of Columbia is proposed
emergency resolution, the “Multiyear Contract No. DCAM-24-N C
-CA-0005 with WGL Energy
Services, Inc., Emergency Approval Resolution of 2024”, and accompanying
emergency declaration resolution along with multiyear Contract No. DCAM-24-NC-CA-0005
with WGL Energy Services, Inc.
The legislation will approve multiyear Contract No. DCAM-24-NC-CA-0005 with WGL Energy
Services, Inc., to provide firm and interruptible natural gas supply for the District’s real estate
portfolio. The contract is in the not-to-exceed amount of $18,275,000 with a period of performance
from June 1, 2024, through June 30, 2027.

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That
20 this resolution may be cited
as the "Multiyear Contract No. DCAM-24-NC-CA-0005 with
21 WGL Energy Services, Inc ., Emergency Approval Resolution of 2024".
22 Sec. 2. Pursuant
to section 451 ( c) of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act,
23 approved December 24, 1973 (87 Stat. 803; D. C. Official Code § 1-204.51(c)) and the
24 requirements
of section 202(a) of the Procurement Practices Reform Act of 2010, effective
25 April 8, 2011 (D.C. Law 18-371; D.C. Official Code§ 2-352.02(a)), the Council approves
26 Contract No. DCAM-24-NC-CA-0005, a multiyear agreement with WGL Energy Services,
27 Inc. to provide firm and interruptible natural gas for the District
of Columbia's real estate
28 portfolio
in the not-to-exceed amount of $18,275,000.
29 Sec. 4. Transmittal.
30 The Council shall transmit a copy
of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the
31 Mayor.

3. Fiscal impact statement. 2
The Council adopts the fiscal impact statement provided by the Chief Financial 33
Officer as the fiscal impact statement required by section 4a of the General Legislative 34
Procedures Act of 1975, approved October 16, 2006 (120 Stat. 2038; D.C. Official Code § 35
1-3013.47a). 36
Sec. 5. Effective date. 37
This resolution shall take effect immediately. 38
