RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, that this resolution may be cited as the "Board of Dentistry Dr. Jonelle Anamelechi Confirmation Resolution of 2024". Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of: Dr. Jonelle Anamelechi Irving Street, NE Washington, DC 20017 (Ward 5) as a dentist licensed in the District member of the Board of Dentistry, established by section 201 of the District of Columbia Health Occupations Revision Act of 1985, effective March 25, 1986 (D. C. Law 6-99; D.C. Official Code§ 3-1202.01), filling a vacant seat formerly held by Dr. Wesley Thomas, for a term to end November 30, 2027. Sec. 3. Along with professional memberships locally, nationally, and internationally, Dr. Anamelechi serves as the past president of the DC American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, State Representative for the Maryland Health Smiles Program, Board Member of the Maryland Dental Action Coalition and the DC Pediatric Oral Health Coalition, and Advisory Committee Member for Diversity in Dentistry.
