To confirm, on an emergency basis, the appointment of Sharon Kershbaum as the Director of the 16
District Department of Transportation. 17

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this 19
resolution may be cited as the “Director of the District Department of Transportation Sharon 20
Kershbaum Confirmation Emergency Approval Resolution of 2024”. 21
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of: 22
Ms. Sharon Kershbaum 23
MacArthur Boulevard, NW 24
Washington, DC 20016 25
(Ward 3) 26
as Director of the District Department of Transportation, established by section 2 of the 27
Department of Transportation Establishment Act of 2002, effective May 21, 2002 (D.C. Official 28
Code§ 50-921.01), to serve at the pleasure of the Mayor. 29
Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution, 30
upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Office of the Mayor. 31
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately. 32
