 HOUSE BILL NO. 174 

   

 AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 14 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO STUDENT DISCIPLINE REFERRALS. 

   

  BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:   Section 1. Amend Chapter 16, Title 14 of the Delaware Code by making deletions as shown by strike through and insertions as shown by underline as follows:   1608. Referrals to school-based problem-solving team.   Once a student receives 2 out-of-school suspensions in a school semester, or trimester, the student must be referred to the schools school-based problem-solving team, located in the school the student is attending, for both academic and non-academic intervention including any recommendations based on the teams assessment of the student.      

 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
