ESTABLISHING AN INTERNET SPORTS LOTTERY LEGISLATIVE WORKING GROUP.
WHEREAS, on January 26, 2023, the House of Representatives passed House Resolution No. 6 which established the Internet Sports Lottery Legislative Working Group; and WHEREAS, House Resolution No. 6 required that the Internet Sports Lottery Legislative Working Group (Working Group) provide its recommendations to the House of Representatives on or before June 30, 2023; and WHEREAS, the Working Group has met regularly, and while it has worked diligently on its evaluation, it is not yet prepared to submit its recommendations; and WHEREAS, in order to conclude the Working Groups work thoroughly and sufficiently, the Working Groups recommendations deadline must be extended. NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the 152 nd General Assembly of the State of Delaware, that the recommendations deadline of the Internet Sports Lottery Legislative Working Group is extended to December 1, 2023.
