BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE: Section 1. Amend 3181, Title 15 of the Delaware Code by making deletions as shown by strike through and insertions as shown by underline as follows: 3181 Primary to be held. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, a presidential primary election for major political parties shall be conducted on the fourth first Tuesday in April in the calendar year of a presidential election. Section 1A. Amend 5402, Title 15 of the Delaware Code by making deletions as shown by strike through and insertions as shown by underline as follows: 5402. Early voting; designated locations. (a) The Except as provided by subsection (b) of this section, the State Election Commissioner shall designate locations at which a qualified voter, duly registered, may vote in person during at least 10 days before an election, up to and including the Saturday and Sunday immediately before an election. (b) The requirement under subsection (a) of this section that early voting locations be open the Sunday immediately before an election does not apply to the presidential primary election date established under 3181(a) of this title.
