 SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 105 

   

 EXTENDING THE REPORTING DATE OF THE VICTIMS BILL OF RIGHTS COMMITTEE. 

   

  WHEREAS, the Victims Bill of Rights Committee was established under Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 99 of the 152  nd   General Assembly to study and make findings and recommendations on the revision of the Victims Bill of Rights; and   WHEREAS, the Committee was directed to deliver its findings and recommendations by January 15, 2024; and   WHEREAS, the Committee and its four subgroups have met regularly since September 2023 and engaged a robust group of stakeholders and impacted individuals; and   WHEREAS, the Committee feels that its investigation will require additional time to ensure a thorough assessment of all aspects of the Victims Bill of Rights.   NOW, THEREFORE:   BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the 152  nd   General Assembly of the State of Delaware, the House of Representatives concurring therein, that the findings and recommendations report of the Victims Bill of Rights Committee is extended to March 1, 2024.
