Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 7

Section 1. Best Buddies Mentoring and Student Assistance 9
Initiatives is an Appropriations Project as defined in The Rules 10
of The Florida House of Representatives and is d escribed in 11
Appropriations Project Request 333, herein incorporated by 12
reference. 13
Section 2. For fiscal year 2022-2023 the nonrecurring sum 14
of $350,000 from the General Revenue Fund is appropriated to the 15
Department of Education to fund the Best Buddies Mentoring and 16
Student Assistance Initiatives as described in Appropriations 17
Project Request 333. 18
Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022. 19
