Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 8

Section 1. Homestead Law Enforcement Technology Upgrades: 10
Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) Account is an 11
Appropriations Project as defined in The Rules of The Florida 12
House of Representatives and is described in Appropriations 13
Project Request 1117, herein incorporated by reference. 14
Section 2. For fiscal year 2022-2023 the nonrecurring sum 15
of $500,000 from the General Revenue Fund is appropriated to the 16
Department of Law Enforcement to fund the Homestead Law 17
Enforcement Technology Upgrades: Community Oriented Policing 18
Services (COPS) Account as described in Appropriations Project 19
Request 1117. 20
Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022. 21
