Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 6

Section 1. Florida Debate Initiative, Inc. is an 8
Appropriations Project as defined in The Rules of The Florida 9
House of Representatives and is described in Appropriations 10
Project Request 1050, herein incorporated by reference. 11
Section 2. For fiscal year 2022-2023 the nonrecurring sum 12
of $1,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund is appropriated to 13
the Department of Education to fund the Florida Debate 14
Initiative, Inc. as described in Appropriations Project Request 15
1050. 16
Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022. 17
