directing the Department of Transportation to erect 5

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 8

Section 1. Dr. Sally Ride Memorial Bridge designated; 10
Department of Transportation to erect suitabl e markers.— 11
(1) Upon completion of construction, the new NASA Causeway 12
Bridge on S.R. 405 over the Indian River in Brevard County is 13
designated as "Dr. Sally Ride Memorial Bridge." 14
(2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect 15
suitable markers designating Dr. Sally Ride Memorial Bridge as 16
described in subsection (1). 17
Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2023. 18
