A memorial to the Congress of the United States, 2
urging Congress to recognize the need to establish a 3
new zip code for the City of Coconut Creek to be 4
perpetually unique to the City of Coconut Creek. 5

WHEREAS, the City of Coconut Creek is a municipality 7
located in Broward County with a population of approximately 8
57,833 and a land area of approximately 12 square miles, and 9
WHEREAS, establishing a new zip code for the City of 10
Coconut Creek to be perpetually unique to the City of Coconut 11
Creek would provide numerous benefits to its residents, 12
including lowering insurance rates, fixing address -related 13
issues with elections, censuses, and United States Postal 14
Service delivery, and branding and economic development, NOW, 15

Be It Resolved by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 18

That the Congress of the United States is urged to 20
recognize the need to establish a new zip code for the City of 21
Coconut Creek to be perpetually unique to the City of Coconut 22
Creek. 23
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of State dispatch 24
copies of this memorial to the President of the United States, 25
