requiring the Department of Agriculture and Consumer 3
Services to include specified application, permit, 4
placement, and removal fees in rules implementing the 5
Fresh From Florida Retail Fresh Market Signage 6
Program; providing a contingent effective date. 7

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 9

Section 1. Subsection (5) of section 57 0.851, Florida 11
Statutes, as created by HB 809, 2023 Regular Session, is amended 12
to read: 13
570.851 Fresh From Florida Retail Fresh Market Farm Stand 14
Signage Program.— 15
(5) The department shall adopt rules to implement this 16
section. The rules must include the following fees: 17
(a) An annual application and permit fee, not to exceed 18
$50. 19
(b) A signage placement fee, not to exceed $250. 20
(c) A signage removal fee, not to exceed $100. 21
Section 2. This act shall take effect on the same date 22
that HB 809 or similar legislation takes effect , if such 23
legislation is adopted in the same legislative session or an 24
extension thereof and becomes a law. 25
