II.Summary of Amendments Contained in Message: 
Senate barcode 509046 amends the Board of Pharmacy's authority under s. 465.1865, F.S., 
relating to collaborative pharmacy practice for chronic health conditions. Under current law, a 
pharmacist may provide patient care to a collaborating physician's patients for chronic health 
conditions specified in statute or other such conditions adopted in rule by the Board of 
Pharmacy, in consultation with the Board of Medicine and the Board of Osteopathic Medicine. 
The amendment provides that such Board of Pharmacy rule must be adopted in agreement with 
the latter two boards, as opposed to in consultation with.
