s. 193.085, F.S.; requiring county property appraisers 3
for counties located within a wind -borne debris region 4
to specify certain information on the property 5
appraiser's website; providing an effective date. 6

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 8

Section 1. Subsection (2) of section 193.085, Florida 10
Statutes, is amended to read: 11
193.085 Listing all property. — 12
(2)(a) The department shall promulgate such regulations 13
and shall make available maps and mapping materials as it deems 14
necessary to ensure that all real property within the state is 15
listed and valued on the real property assessment rolls of the 16
respective counties. In addition, individual property appraisers 17
may use such other maps and materials as they deem expedient to 18
accomplish the purpose of this section. 19
(b) The property appraiser for a county located within a 20
wind-borne debris region as defined in the Florida Building Code 21
must specify for each parcel on the property appraiser's website 22
the year of initial construction of the improvement and the year 23
of publication of the building code applicable to initial 24
construction of the improvement. 25

Section 2. This act shall take effect January 1, 2024. 26
