An act relating to a review under the Open Government 2
Sunset Review Act; amending s. 373.089, F.S. , which 3
provides an exemption from public record requirements 4
for valuations, certain related records, and sales 5
offers for sales related to surplus lands; removing 6
the scheduled repeal of the exemption ; providing an 7
effective date. 8

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 10

Section 1. Paragraph (d) of subsection (1) of section 12
373.089, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: 13
373.089 Sale or exchange of lands, or interests or rights 14
in lands.—The governing board of the district may sell lands, or 15
interests or rights in lands, to which the dist rict has acquired 16
title or to which it may hereafter acquire title in the 17
following manner: 18

(d) Paragraphs (b) and (c) are subject to the Open 20
Government Sunset Review Act in accordance with s. 119.15 and 21
shall stand repealed on October 2, 2023, unl ess reviewed and 22
saved from repeal through reenactment by the Legislature. 23

declines to accept title to the lands offered under this 26
section, the land may be disposed of by the district under the 27
provisions of this section. 28
Section 2. This act shall take effect October 1, 2023. 29
