Section 943.17299, Flo rida Statutes, is created 16 to read: 17 943.17299 Continued employment training relating to 18 Alzheimer's disease and related forms of dementia. —The 19 department shall establish an online, continued employment 20 training component relating to Alzheimer's disease an d related 21 forms of dementia. Completion of the training component may count 30 toward the 40 hours of instruction for continued employment or 31 appointment as a law enforcement officer required under s. 32 943.135. 33 Section 2. This act shall take effect October 1, 2024. 34
