Section 943 .17299, Florida Statutes, is created 17 to read: 18 943.17299 Continued employment training relating to 19 Alzheimer's disease and related forms of dementia. —The 20 department shall establish an online, continued employment 21 training component relating to Alzheimer's disease and related 22 forms of dementia. Completion of the training component may count 31 toward the 40 hours of instruction for continued employment or 32 appointment as a law enforcement officer, correctional officer, 33 or correctional probation officer required under s. 943.135. 34 Section 2. This act shall take effect October 1, 2024. 35
