House Amendment – 917109 to Senate Amendment – 660000 provides in s. 1004.561, F.S.,
an appropriation of $2 million in recurring funds from the General Revenue Fund to the
University of Florida Lastinger Center for Learning to administer grants for artificial intelligence
tutoring platforms as specified in the bill for use by school districts for students in grades 6
through 12.
The amendment also revises the statutory section number assigned to the creation of the duties of
the University of Florida Lastinger Center for Learning to assign s. 1004.561, F.S., instead of
s. 1004.646, F.S.
