Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 9

Section 1. Section 380.095, Florida Statutes, is created 11
to read: 12
380.095 Dedicated funding for conservation lands and water 13
quality improvements. — 14
(1) The Legislature recognizes that the conservation and 15
preservation of the land and water resources of this state are 16
essential to maintaining the q uality of life enjoyed by 17
Floridians. Therefore, the Legislature intends to dedicate 18
revenues from the 2021 gaming compact between the Seminole Tribe 19
of Florida and the State of Florida to acquire and manage 20
conservation lands and to address water quality issues in the 21
state. 22
(2) The Legislature shall appropriate 96 percent of the 23
revenue share payments received under the compact as defined in 24
s. 285.710(1) for land conservation, the management of 25

conservation lands, and water quality improvements. 26
Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law. 27
