Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 8

Section 1. Section 381.94, Florida Statutes, is created to 10
read: 11
381.94 Dense breast tissue sc reening requirements. — 12
(1) A patient previously identified as having dense breast 13
tissue in a mammography report may receive an ultrasound or 14
other additional screening tests without first having a 15
conventional mammogram. 16
(2) As used in this section, t he term "mammography report" 17
has the same meaning as described in 21 C.F.R. s. 900.12(c). 18
Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2025. 19
